Flowers are arranged in churches to make a more
beautiful setting for the acts of worship. They bring life and
colour to the church and are a continual reminder of the wonder of the
natural world created by God. In this way they inspire
worship.
The flower calendar for the year is in the
Narthex. The modest cost of
$35 covers materials and taxes. This
work is done at cost by the Altar Guild - there is no charge for the
arranging. Flowers may be a token of remembrance or a gift of
thanksgiving for many events. Please be sure to enter the purpose of
your gift (thanksgiving, memorial, etc.), the names of the persons
involved and your name and telephone number. Thank you.
We are especially fortunate at St. Jude's that so many people
support the flower program which beautifies the church on Sunday mornings. If you
are interested in providing a gift of flowers, contact Jill Raine.
