The Anglican Diocese of Toronto has established a Pre-Authorized Gifts Program (PAG) to assist you in your support of the work of your parish church through your regular parish offerings and the mission of outreach supported through our own annual appeal, FaithWorks.   PAG creates a win/win situation for you and your congregation. 

It's a very simple procedure:

When you participate in PAG, your bank account will be debited automatically on or about the 20th of the month.  This amount will be credited then to the parish's account.

Advantages for the donor:

• Convenience.  Your offering is received automatically every month.
• Continual support of your home church when you are away.
• Continual support of ministries and programs funded through FaithWorks.

Advantages for the parish:

• Regular, dependable flow of contributions to the parish and to FaithWorks.
• Reduction of paperwork and bookkeeping.
• Reduction of bank overdrafts.

If your parish has decided to participate, this is how you make your gift through PAG:

• Decide the amount of your gift to your parish and to FaithWorks to be debited from your account each month.
• Fill out the Pre-Authorized Giving Donor Card and attach a cheque from your account marked "void". 
  Note:  If you wish to join this program, your registration must be received at the church by the 5th day of any month in order to have your donations processed by the 20th of that month.
• Put the PAG Donor Card and void cheque in an envelope for the offering plate.

The Stewardship Development Department of the Diocese of Toronto administers the PAG program for local parishes.

There is no minimum number of givers required for a parish to initiate the program.   However, the more contributors that are participating in the program the more valuable and viable it is for the church.

Small cards are available to place in the offering plate.  Please note that your local parish church will issue receipts for gifts.
